CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support

This qualification prepares support workers to perform specialised tasks in aged care across residential, home, or community settings. Workers are responsible for delivering quality services by planning, facilitating, and reviewing individualised care. They may also demonstrate leadership and oversee the work of others within set guidelines. A minimum of 120 hours of practical work is required. No specific licensing or certification is needed.

Workers may be required to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs of others within limited parameters.

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
